Based in Kaslo, a charming lakeside village on Kootenay Lake, guests stay at the historic Kaslo Hotel with mountain and lake views. Stellar offers single-day trips for those short on time, multi-day unlimited vertical packages for the committed powder hunter, and fully customizable adventures. “I’ve been on multiple trips with Stellar Heli Skiing and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional heli-skiing experience. Compared to other operations I’ve skied with, Stellar consistently stands out for having the best guides and helicopter pilots in the industry. They do an excellent job minimizing down days, offer great accommodations, and the food and drinks are top-notch. Curling is always a fun way to wrap up the trip. But ultimately, it’s the quality of the skiing that keeps me coming back trip after trip!!”

“Group was highly detailed and took their job very seriously. The year I took the trip actually had record lows for Snow and the team still found the fresh powder runs for every route. They have fun, but also are very careful to protect and keep the team safe. For sure a "no-BS" approach. We had a blast and will definitely be back for another trip. Definitely fans for life.”
